about

The three years since our last official release have been emotionally heavy at times, both in and outside of the band, and this collection of songs is the result. Our music has grown more aggressive, thoughtful, and complex, adopting a rawer and more organic feeling to the sounds that only we could create.

This new material doesn’t feel or sound like a continuation. This is a new beginning, a reintroduction, and in more ways than not, a new band.

Track Name: Proper Wolf
We talked for hours it seemed.
To find the love we thought we saw in our dreams.
But now I can't take back the words that were said.
"Don't worry," she said, "it's all in your head..."

We drove for hours it seems
Until the world looked like the one in our dreams
And we tried to take the words that were said
And turn them into everything.

But you are still gone.
Lie to me, through your teeth.
Track Name: Radio Repairman
Pull the veil from off my eyes
Tangled veins, it's our disguise
You build your own hell every night
As the world around you dies.

All I want is you.

Pull the veil from off my eyes
Tangled veins, it's our disguise
You build your own hell every night
As the world around you dies.

All I want is you.
Track Name: Pretentious Porcupine
The first thing you said to me brought me straight to tears.
Saw the halo above your hospital bed. It was growing with our fears.

It's not your fault, but this is all your fault.

So I'll bite my tongue again, and chew until it hurts.
Always looking for someone else, you can forget what you are worth.

Cuz' we're ugly, but we're so beautiful.
We try so hard to be beautiful.

Don't tell me you're sorry.

(Am I pretty now?)
Track Name: Saints
Unknown in a frostbit town of graveyards and lakes.
There are demons in liquid form who give what they take.
No crossroads, or goals. With a false sense of control.

Oh my God; Alone in the skin I wear, a coat of fresh paint.
There's demons we live with, disguised as our saints
When I close my eyes at night, it keeps me awake.
Cuz' I still see you. But you're gone.
Track Name: Temporary Limbs
I have become numb and unable to speak.
And I have never loved a thing that can be taken away from me.
No, I don't feel anything.

Can we stop the clocks and make up for lost time?
But the hours still burn and set fire to our eyes.
In this fucked up world I thought I finally found a friend.
Oh, think again.

We are the waves that saved this sinking ship.
Just try to forget. So long to regrets...

Can we stop the clocks and make up for lost time?
But the hours still burn and set fire to our eyes.
In this fucked up world I thought I finally found a friend.
Oh, think again.

I can't fight these feelings alone...
No matter where I go, I never feel at home.
